The Cape Cod Curling Club in Falmouth is hosting its’ 8th annual Curling for Charity event on Saturday, November 19, from 9 to 5. All proceeds go to Recovery Without Walls, a not-for-profit organization which assists women transitioning back into society following substance abuse treatment.
Twelve teams will participate, with all players being first time curlers. The event is sponsored by Cape Cod Healthcare.
Those wishing to contribute to a team before the event may do so online at www.capecodcurling.org. Raffle tickets will be sold before and during the event and several gift baskets will be also raffled during the tournament. Lunch is available and all are invited to attend. There is no admission charge, but attendees are encouraged to support this charity.
Teams include Cape Cod Healthcare, Falmouth Academy, Falmouth Airpark, Falmouth Congregational Church, Falmouth Fire and Rescue, Falmouth School Principals, The Brothers, Recovery Without Walls, Ryan Family Amusements, TD Bank, US Coast Guard Air Station, and US Coast Guard ESD.
