Shoppers enjoyed live music by Simple Gifts Woodwind Ensemble, warm apple cider, and delicious cookies. Some of the winter clothing line was marked down considerably to coincide with the event. For the first time, the shop collected Toys for Tots and gathered more than two dozen for local needy families. The Truro resident has been making jewelry for 20 years and seen her style evolve, but is most excited by the silversmithing and wire wrapping she is currently working on. All of Deane’s pieces are one of a kind and utilize sterling silver, precious and semi-previous gemstones. The jeweler antiques her sterling silver through a process called oxidation to give it a unique appearance.
